Clearly, you don’t need a pricey blender to churn out fabulous margaritas. You can pick up three of our five best blenders for margaritas for under $100. Other considerations like pitcher capacity, easy serve spouts, or even compact storage might set one above the rest for your needs. Read on for those details.

Overall Best Blender for Margaritas: Ninja Professional Blender

The Ninja Professional Blender costs around $100 and is often on sale for less. It delivers a walloping 1000 watts of power to 6 ice-crushing stainless steel blades for smooth and frothy margaritas, smoothies, and other frozen concoctions. It also has one of the largest pitchers on the market — 72-ounces, to be exact. If you regularly make frozen margaritas for a crowd, this is a great margarita blender to consider.

Ninja Professional Blender Specs

  • 72-oz. blender pitcher — the largest of the bunch
  • Blender pitcher is dishwasher-safe BPA-free plastic
  • 1000 Watts of power
  • Stainless steel 6-blade assembly
  • Dimensions: 11 x 9 x 16 inches

The Ninja Professional Blender costs a bit more than the budget picks in our review. But considering its power, speed, blender capacity, and under $100 price tag, it easily claims our top spot as the best blender for margaritas.

Best Budget Margarita Blender: Wavestation Express

  • A handy serving spout makes this a best blender for margaritas

I spotted this blender at a friend’s party and was impressed with how it well serves up frozen margaritas with little fuss. I looked it up afterward and was amazed to find that it costs less than $50. The Wavestation margarita blender by Hamilton Beach is designed to conveniently blend and serve frozen drinks. In my experience, it does that darned well, especially considering its low price tag.

Wavestation Blender Specs

  • 48-oz. blender pitcher
  • Blender pitcher is dishwasher-safe BPA-free plastic
  • 500 Watts of power
  • Patented stainless steel Ice Sabre blades
  • Dimensions: 8 x 9 x 14 inches

Since the Wavestation is so inexpensive, I closely read its Amazon reviews. Many buyers seem very happy with this blender, though some do report issues with the spout leaking. My friend hasn’t had any problems and nor do the majority of buyers. So it might be user error or just a few bad units out of the many sold.

Hamilton Beach makes an even lower-cost version of this blender without the serving spout. It’s called the Wave Crusher and has great reviews, too.

As a quality margarita blender under $50, the Wavestation with its clever spout easily earns a spot among the best blenders for margaritas. The Wave Crusher also earns a nod as a cheap margarita blender that performs well.

Best Ice Texture Blender for Margaritas: Margaritaville

I have the Margaritaville blender and IMHO, it delivers the best ice texture for frozen margaritas outside of a professional frozen drink mixer. It does this using a two-step process. The top ice reservoir delivers ice to shaver blades, and the shaved ice falls directly into the pitcher for drink blending. The Margaritaville’s ice-shaving feature gives your frozen drinks the most restaurant-like texture.

Margaritaville Bahamas Margarita Blender Specs

  • 36-oz. blender pitcher
  • Blender pitcher is dishwasher-safe BPA-free plastic
  • 400 Watts of power
  • 2 sets of stainless steel blades: Ice-shaving and blending blades
  • Dimensions: 14 x 9 x 18 inches

Compared to standard blenders, the Margaritaville is pretty bulky since it has an upper ice reservoir and ice shaving motor. I pull it out for parties, but it’s not an everyday go-to like my Ninja Personal Blender, featured next. The Margaritaville blender is also pricey, it runs around $200. But it’s a great seller with many happy buyers leaving positive reviews.

If a restaurant-quality margarita is your goal, the Margaritaville is a top contender. It produces the best ice texture for margaritas and all other frozen concoctions. It also comes in two higher-capacity versions if you regularly serve up a crowd.

Best Compact Blender for Margaritas: Ninja Personal Blender

Averaging around $50, the Ninja Personal Blender is very compact and economical, but that doesn’t mean it’s short on blending power. Its 700-watt motor and ice-crushing stainless steel blades pulverize ice into a smooth and frothy frozen margarita in no time.

Ninja Personal Blender Specs

  • 2 16-oz blender tumblers with screw-on Sip & Seal lids
  • Blender tumblers are dishwasher-safe BPA-free plastic
  • 700 Watts of power
  • Stainless steel blades
  • Dimensions: 10 x 6 x 14 inches

Designed as a personal blender, this Ninja doesn’t have a regular pitcher. Instead, you get two 16-oz. dishwasher-safe blender tumblers with screw-on drink lids. These are convenient if you’re making margaritas, smoothies, etc., for poolside or on the go.

If you usually whip up margaritas for a crowd, a blender with a pitcher is more convenient. However, if you don’t need big-batch capabilities, the Personal Ninja might be the perfect margarita blender for you.

Best Bar Quality Margarita Blender: Vitamix Explorian Blender

This is the priciest margarita blender on our list, but it earns its spot because it delivers great value for a high-end blender. Vitamix blenders are pro-quality and known for producing smooth, silky frozen margaritas and other blended treats. If you want the best blender for margaritas, sauces, purees, smoothies, and much more, the Vitamix Explorian Blender is a bargain.

Vitamix Explorian Blender Specs

  • 64-oz blender pitcher
  • Blender pitcher is dishwasher-safe BPA-free plastic
  • 1380 Watts of power
  • Aircraft-grade, hardened stainless steel
  • Dimensions: 11 x 8 x 17 inches

Most Vitamix blenders are in the $400 to $500 range, but this blender generally clocks in under $300 and delivers a ton of food and drink prep features.

If you’re just looking for a great blender for margaritas, our picks above deliver great results for less than the Vitamix. But if you need a reliable, high-quality blender that does it all, consider the Vitamix Explorian or another top-rated Vitamix brand blender.

Don’t Forget the Margarita Glasses!

If you’re going to make a great margarita, you need an equally great glass to serve it in. There are plenty of options to choose from in glass, plastic, and even disposable margarita glasses. Shop our favorite plastic margarita glasses from top manufacturers, or see all that Amazon has to offer. Here’s a sampling:
