Below are the best can you use an immersion blender to froth milk topics edited and compiled by familycuisine.net
I’ll show you how to froth milk with an immersion blender – in just two steps!
To make frothy milk this way, you’ll need an immersion blender.
And though I wouldn’t say you should buy one just to make frothy milk, if you did, you could definitely use it for a lot of other things, too.

There are just 2 steps to making frothy milk at home: warm the milk, and fill it with air bubbles using a stick blender.
Table of Contents
How to froth milk at home: Step 1
For the best results, use 2% or whole (homo) milk.
Start by warming 1½ cups of milk on the stove over medium low, in a small or medium-sized pot. Stir the milk often so it heats evenly, and so it doesn’t burn on the bottom of the pan.
Heat the milk until it’s warm throughout, and steaming. It should feel hot if you drip some from a spoon onto your finger. Pour the warm milk into a tall container; I use a 4-cup measuring jug, or small pitcher.
How to froth milk at home: Step 2
Submerge your blender right down to the bottom of the milk in the container and lightly cover the jug with a tea towel, loosely wrapping the cloth around the stick part of the blender.
This will prevent you from spraying hot milk all over yourself and the kitchen.

Start the blender, and slowly bring it up then slowly back down the side of the jug a few times. Be careful not to bring the blades out of the milk.
You’ll see the milk starting to bubble up right away… but don’t get too excited, yet.
Continue a few more times in each direction. Now, rest the milk: wait ten or fifteen seconds, then repeat the slow up and down in the warm milk with the blender turned on.
(This break allows all the air you’ve created in the milk to settle a bit, and then you can pump it up some more. If you skip this step you’ll still make frothy milk, but it will be thin and you won’t end up with very much frothed milk. Give yourself a few extra seconds and get a good thick foam.)
That’s it!
Now you know how to froth milk in 2 steps.
Just don’t expect the entire jug of milk to turn to foam; that won’t happen. This guide will make frothy milk for three coffee drinks.
And consider adding frothy milk to hot chocolate, too.
If you want to try something new, click here for my spiced cocoa mix recipe: imagine a mug of rich hot chocolate with warm spices, topped with a generous spoon of warmed milk foam.

When you’re finished with the jug of warm milk, return it to the fridge. (You can read more about that here.)
The frothiness will settle in time, and you can use the milk as usual once it’s cool.
Enjoy!
