Some exciting changes have taken place in Disney World’s fireworks shows. Magic Kingdom has brought back Happily Ever After, while EPCOT Forever is back for a limited time. Additionally, EPCOT is preparing for an all-new fireworks show. If you want to take your fireworks viewing experience to the next level, you should consider attending a fireworks dessert party or booking a dining package. With the upcoming fireworks changes, it’s essential to stay informed about these options.
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties
Let’s start with the dessert parties at Magic Kingdom. In the past, there were three different options available:
- 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Pre-Party
- 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Treats & Seats
- 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment After-Party
Due to the changes in fireworks shows, some adjustments have been made to these parties. As of April 1st, they are now designated as “Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties” and are not specific to the 50th Anniversary celebration. They have names that are similar but slightly different, and they still include similar elements as before.
The new options available are:
- Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party (enjoy desserts first and then be escorted to a fireworks viewing area in the Plaza Garden)
- Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets (savor desserts while viewing the fireworks from the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant patio)
- Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party (watch the fireworks from a special viewing area in the Plaza Garden and then indulge in desserts afterward)
Starting from April 3rd, these parties will feature the Happily Ever After Fireworks. Reservations for the generic fireworks dessert parties (not specific to the 50th Anniversary) are now available.
The pricing for these parties remains the same as the Enchantment versions:
- Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party — $99 for adults, $59 for children
- Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets — $114 for adults, $69 for children
- Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party — $99 for adults, $59 for children
When it comes to the food, you can expect a delightful selection of desserts such as chocolate-dipped strawberries and chocolate silk tarts, as well as a variety of cheeses and beverages, including beer and wine for those 21 and over.
Essentially, these changes seem to revolve around theming and names since the 50th Anniversary has ended, and Happily Ever After has returned. We anticipate that the 50th Anniversary theming, previously present in some of the Enchantment fireworks dessert party snacks, will likely be removed.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort Fireworks Celebration
Moving on, let’s discuss the fireworks celebration at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, formerly known as “Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.” This experience concluded on March 31st.
Starting from April, the new experience is called the “Celebration at the Top — Sip, Savor, and Sparkle.” Once again, this removes any 50th Anniversary theming as the 50th celebration comes to an end.
Reservations for the Sip, Savor, Sparkle experience are now available. The offerings for this experience remain largely the same. You can still enjoy sushi, small bites, favorite dishes from the California Grill menu, and delectable desserts. The complimentary bar will also serve an array of libations, including wine, beers, and cordials.
When it’s time for the show, you’ll head to the observation deck to watch the fireworks. Afterward, you can return for petit four desserts, cordials, and coffee. Presumably, the 50th Anniversary theming will be removed from any treats that had it during the 50th Anniversary celebration, so that will likely be the main difference here.
The pricing remains unchanged, with the experience priced at $129 per person (plus tax and gratuity).

Starting from April 3rd, EPCOT Forever is being showcased. The pricing for these dining packages appears to remain the same:
- Rose & Crown: $89 for adults, $39 for children
