This simple method is fool-proof and so easy to do, not only does it take just 5 minutes to cook the eggs but the shell just peels right off. It’s really that easy!
How do you boil eggs in the Ninja Foodi?
In the Ninja Foodi, the eggs will be cooked using the 5-5-5 method or the pressure cooker. In the Ninja Foodi, you will need the pressure cooker lid.
I also like to use the wire rack for these, once you have the pot inserted along with the wire rack into the Ninja Foodi, at this point, you will want to add 1 cup of water.
What is the 5-5-5 Method for Hard-Boiled Eggs?

This Egg Steamer Rack is a great choice; however, you can just lay them on the wire rack that came with the Ninja Foodi as well.
After that is added, secure the lid and move the nozzle to ‘seal’. Then, you will cook them on high pressure for 5 minutes, this starts the 5-5-5 method.

Once you have the eggs cooked, they need to naturally release (do nothing) for 5 minutes in the pressure cooker.
Once the eggs are done, with these 2 steps, it’s time for the last part of the 5-5-5 method. The eggs will then need to be added to an ice bath or iced water for 5 minutes.
How long do Hard-Boiled Eggs last?
Hard-Boiled Eggs generally last up to 1 week in the fridge. They also need to be put in the fridge immediately after cooking if you aren’t planning to eat them immediately.

We prefer to make about a dozen hard-boiled eggs each week and that’s part of our Sunday routine, making the hard-boiled eggs in the Ninja Foodi and if you need a boost of protein to go with your snack for the week or breakfast, it’s ready!
How should you peel the hard-boiled egg?
The best way I’ve found to quickly peel the egg is to lightly crack it all the way around and start to peel the shell. The 5 minutes in the ice bath greatly helps you easily peel the egg.
If you would prefer you can even peel the egg under the water, this helps release it too.
