If you are in a hurry and don’t have time for that, you could put the lobster in a sealed container or bag. Then place it inside of a bowl of cold water. You don’t want the water to get on the lobster. It’s just a way to defrost it without allowing bacteria to grow. You will need to change the water out periodically and always make sure to use cold water. Once they are thawed, you are good to go.

How Do You Store Cooked Lobster?

You will need to keep any leftover lobster tails in the refrigerator. They should be kept airtight and will last up to 2 days.

Reheat the lobster tails in the oven at 325 degrees F. for 8-10 minutes. Once hot, it’s ready to serve.

NOTE: It’s best if you can cover the lobster with foil before you begin warming it up. This will keep it from drying out.
