Green Smoothie Prep Packets

2 Weeks of Pre-made, drop into the blender Green Morning Smoothies for your family!

➡️ Have you ever heard of batching?

Batching is: Doing a bunch of similar tasks all at once. When we get in our “groove” with a single task we become more efficient.

Instead of spending 10 minutes EACH morning, deciding/finding/cleaning and preparing smoothie ingredients, you can prepare 2-3 weeks of morning smoothies all at once, in about 20-25 minutes total!Add that up!

You just “found” yourself 10 minutes per day, x 2 weeks= over 2 hours SAVED!

THIS is why prepping ahead is EVERYTHING!

(imagine implementing this technique with several projects!)

You are also more likely to drink a Green Smoothie everyday if it’s ready to drop right into the blender!

Don’t worry about buying expensive fresh fruit.

Most of my favorite fruits are out of season when I want them.

Frozen fruit is harvested at it’s peak- when they are ripe and perfect for eating.

They are then flash frozen which preserves nutrients, and delivered to stores.

Frozen fruits are VERY affordable and available year round- plus you can buy them in bulk.

I can usually afford the ORGANIC variety of my favorite berries, when purchasing frozen.

And of course, frozen fruit will last much longer than their fresh counterparts.

No need to wash, peel, or cut up the fruits. With frozen fruits, everything is already done for you.

So much time-saving POWER here!

What I did for 2 weeks PREP: (You can use your own favorite combo of fruit or make these for any #number of servings/days -adjust to your needs!)

I made 4 servings in each packet, which is enough for my family for 2 weeks

Green Smoothie Prep Packets

I used:

  • 14 or more gallon Ziploc Freezer bags, large Tupperware type containers, OR large glass canning jars(if you have freezer space)

For each packet that blends 4 servings each: (Family of 4 Smoothie Prep Packets)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach in each (freezes very well)
  • 1/2 cup organic sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup organic blueberries
  • 1/2 cup blackberries or raspberries
  • 1-2 bananas
  • optional: a handful of organic green grapes

Instructions:

Seal, place packets in FREEZER immediately.

When ready to prepare, throw your packet ingredients in a high powered blender.

You WILL need to CHOP banana into smaller pieces.

Add 2 cups liquid such as ice cold water, coconut milk, almond milk…etc.

These are best used within 30 days once frozen.

Clean Food Crush Green Smoothie Prep Packet

Optional 1 Serving Packet: (Smoothie Prep for One)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2-1 cup fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup organic sliced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup organic berries of choice
  • 1/2 a banana

Instructions:

Seal, place packets in FREEZER immediately.

When ready to prepare, throw your packet ingredients in a high powered blender.

You WILL need to CHOP banana into smaller pieces.

Add 1 cup liquid such as ice cold water, coconut milk, almond milk…etc.

These are best used within 30 days once frozen.

Mix and match your favorite fruits & greens to create your personal smoothies.
