These pink colored lemonades may contain extracts of fruits like raspberries, cranberries, strawberries, grapes, and even permitted food colors. Henry Allot Sanchez is the man who is credited to have introduced this colored drink in the American markets. He is believed to have accidentally dropped some cinnamon candies inside a tub of yellow lemonade. The lemonade turned pink, and this variety sold so well that soon companies started to sell especially made pink lemonade. It was in the mid-19th century that these pink varieties started to appear in the markets. Today, there are large multinational companies producing and selling pink lemonade in international markets.
