Here are the hottest little bear coffee 2632 pennsylvania st ne albuquerque nm 87110 articles edited and compiled by familycuisine.net
There are a plethora of coffee shops in Albuquerque these days, which is awesome for any coffee lover. They’re trendy, hip, and pretty much perfect.
Coffee shops are my happy place. I love the ambiance; the feeling of doing my own thing while being surrounded by people. And I love tasting all the different coffee, of course.
Table of Contents
My Favorite Coffee Shops in Albuquerque
Here’s a smattering of Albuquerque coffee shops I frequented on a weekly basis. They’re scattered around the city, and they each have their own quirks and specialties.
Each place listed below has (at least when I used to visit them): free wifi, amazing coffee, great ambiance, excellent employees, and I felt safe being there alone.
Not only that, but they were reliably fantastic. I went to just about every coffee shop in Albuquerque at least twice, and these were the ones I went back to time and time again, and hit every mark I mentioned in the last paragraph. (Some that ranked really high on Google missed the mark for me in one way or another.)
Pro tip: Ask about each cafe’s punch card to earn free drinks! The more you sip, the more you get!
Little Bear Coffee
Little Bear is probably the coffee shop I visited the most—I went to the one on Pennsylvania only because it was closer to me and felt a little more “homey.” Their coffee menu is limited, but it’s so good that I didn’t mind. I loved their BLAH BLAH, and had to try really hard to resist getting one of their donuts (from Bristol Donuts; my favorite donut place ever).

Piñon Coffee House
If you’ve been in NM for awhile then you’ve probably seen New Mexico Pinion Company all over the place, and for good reason: the coffee is fantastic. We actually get it shipped all the way to Germany so we can still enjoy it. Our favorites are biscochito and adobe morning—the literal best part of waking up is having that coffee to pour in our mugs.
I loved going their little Piñon Coffee House down on Alameda, and my one and only gripe is that I wish it was a little larger. It’s so popular that the few seats they have fill up very quickly, so I’d often have to grab my cup of Maple Walnut Latte (oh em gee, so delicious) and head home to work.

Napoli Coffee
Perfectly located next to The Big-I, Napoli Coffee shop was a favorite because I almost always managed to find a seat (a big deal when so many coffee shops are small). Their coffee menu is extensive; I branched out and tried something different every time I visited, and they serve breakfast burritos if you get there early enough before they sell out (hooray)!

Flying Star Cafe
This OG ‘Burque favorite (aka “Double Rainbow” if you go back that far), was one of my favorite places to hang out for a few reason: Flying Star big enough that you could always find a seat. The food is delicious, and the white noise was perfect for getting writing done. I love their cold brew and Caramel Dulce. And if you’re in the mood for some breakfast, you can’t go wrong with their monster burrito (save some for lunch and/or dinner; it’s HUGE), and their avocado toast with a side of green chile.
Pro tip: Head to the one on Wyoming and Paseo during the Balloon Fiesta, and pick a seat near the windows so you can see balloons while you hang out.
Pro tip #2: on Thursdays their cakes and pies are on sale for only $3.50 a slice. You’re welcome.

Satellite Coffee (Cafe)
This sister company of Flying Star are on the smaller side, and definitely have more of the coffee-shop feel. A bigger coffee menu for sure, and they offer seasonal tasty drinks, as well as a large selection of teas.
Every branch of Satellite Coffee is out of this world (you’ll see what I mean when you step inside one), and I could easily spend hours there working, drinking different deliciousness, and trying some of their pastries.
Full confession: I actually worked at Flying Star Cafe after college, and I’ve been going to Satellite since they opened. Up until this moment I didn’t know it was technically called Satellite Coffee; all of my friends always called it just “Satellite” or “Satellite Cafe” (turns out…from my quick google search, that there’s already another Satellite Cafe, which is why they probably called it “coffee” instead.) The more you know…

Sawmill Market
Thinking about Sawmill Market makes me take a deep breath in, and then a loooooong sigh out. This place was my dream come true. It hit every single mark in what I look for when it comes to a great “coffee shop,” as a place to work solo.
I was ecstatic when it opened, and—this may be a little dramatic, but—I actually cried after I visited it, because it was exactly what I’ve been wanting in my search for coffee shops.
And then, the very next day after I went there….everything closed because of the virus. I. was. crushed.
Lucky for you: they’re open again, and I highly encourage you to check it out. Go before the lunch rush, grab some coffee, and some breakfast, and pick a seat—there are plenty to pick from.

Humble Coffee
With two locations in Albuquerque, you can’t go wrong with either one of the Humble Coffee spots. Their coffee shops are just hip enough that you feel cool being there, but not so hip that you feel too old (if you’re a millennial like I am). Their coconut milk vanilla lattes were my favorite, along with any of their locally made pastries.
If you get there early enough you can snag a breakfast burrito, and a seat—Humble Coffee is almost always busy, and rightly so; it’s one of the best coffee shops in Albuquerque.
