The Perfect Size for Your Pickleball Court

Are you ready to take your game to the next level? Whether you’re new to pickleball or looking to try something different, creating your own pickleball court can provide endless hours of fun and exercise. But before you get started, it’s essential to understand the dimensions of a standard pickleball court. That’s where we come in! At Family Cuisine, we’re here to guide you through the process and help you build your very own court.

The Dimensions of a Pickleball Court

A standard pickleball court is approximately the same size as a doubles badminton court. It measures 44 feet long (inclusive of lines) and 20 feet wide (inclusive of lines). The net height is 36 inches high at the sidelines and 34 inches high in the middle. You’ll notice that the court is similar in size to a tennis court, complete with right and left service courts and a 7-foot non-volley zone, also known as the kitchen.

Creating Your Own Pickleball Court

If you’re thinking of creating your own pickleball court, you have a couple of options. You can either construct a court specifically for pickleball or convert an existing tennis or badminton court. For added convenience, consider adding the ONIX Portable Pickleball Net to your setup. This versatile net allows you to play pickleball anytime, anywhere. Whether it’s a multi-purpose gym, a local park, or even your driveway, the portable net is incredibly easy to transport and assemble.

The ONIX pickleball net is USA Pickleball (USAPA) regulation size, making it perfect for tournaments or casual games. With its adjustable Velcro strap, you can achieve the perfect tension for exceptional playability. The net also features a center post, ensuring regulation net height across the entire length of the court. Its compact and lightweight design allows for easy breakdown and transportation, so you can take it with you wherever you go.
