How to Make Roast Beef Sliders
I promise this recipe is MEGA easy so I am breaking it down for you so you too can WOW your family and guests! Like most recipes, these are best served warm but do heat up rather well.
You will need a few things before you get started!
Roast Beef. This recipe produced 12 sliders and used 3/4 lb of roast beef. My kids are not into rare roast beef so I used a more cooked variety, but feel free to use your preference in types.

Cheese. Cheese is a must when making sliders. For this recipe I opted for cheddar, but Swiss cheese would also be a tasty contender.
Bread. I used brioche style buns for this recipe. You could use sweet rolls, dinner buns, or any type you prefer. I loved the slightly sweet & savoy pairing.
Onions. Sweet vidalia onions to the rescue. I love this variety because they caramelize well with just a little water. I cooked them over medium-low heat with some salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of water.
Butter. Melted with 1 tsp of garlic powder & 1/2 tsp of oregano.
Heluva! Good French Onion Dip. Move over mayonnaise. This dip is perfectly packed with spices and tiny bits of real onion. It complemented the beef, cheese, and onions perfectly.
The scent of the melted herbs & butter is so heavenly and provides the brioche with a toasty, buttery outer.
How to Assemble Sliders
Assembling sliders is probably easier than you think.
First, I cooked my onions over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes until golden brown and translucent.
Next, if your buns are connected, the first step is to carefully slice them in half. Mine were connected in 2 packs of 6. I used a bread knife to cautiously cut through them.
Spread Heluva Good! French Onion Dip over the top inner half of the buns.
Then, line the inner half of the bottom buns with roast beef.
Next up is the onions, layer the beef with onions evenly.
Cut 4 slices of cheddar into quarter-sized squares. Line the onions with cheese evenly.
Finally, add the top of the buns to the layered slider halves.
Brush with garlic herb melted butter * see recipe below and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
To slice sliders, use a sharp knife to divide them. Serve warm and enjoy!!
Inside each slider is the perfect ratio of beef, cheese, onion, and dip.
We all know roast beef can dry out, but the Heluva Good! French Onion dip helps to provide flavor & moisture.
Find Heluva Good! Dip in the dairy aisle at your local retailer.
