Its been a while since I am using Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner from The Body Shop and hence wanted to share all the details about this one with you all.

My experience:

Since I have a combination and acne-prone skin, tea tree oil is like a miracle ingredient for my skin. Generally all the products that have tea tree oil as an ingredient suit my skin really well. I have been using The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner since a lot of time now. The toner has a mattifying powder that settles down in the bottle. When you use this, you need to shake the bottle to mix the mattifying powder with the liquid and then take a small amount on a cotton ball/ pad to sweep across your cleansed face and neck. It leaves a little tingling sensation when you apply it. It removes any excess dirt, residual makeup or impurities really well and closes the pores. With regular usage, you will notice a visible reduction in the appearance of pores. If you have sensitive skin or blemished skin, fret not. This toner is perfect for you as well and does not cause any harm at all. With regards to the mattifying effect, I didn’t notice any major mattifying effect after using this toner. This maybe because of the high level of humidity in Mumbai. I am not sure. Also, this toner doesn’t really have a huge effect on acne but it surely soothes the acne-prone skin and reduces the redness. This toner is available in only one size variant which might be risky for some people who just want to give it a try first. Although, this one lasts for around 2-3 months (when you use it twice daily). Also, the price can be a concern. Overall, if you consider normal usage and benefits of a toner, this one’s really a great option for people with oily, combination, acne-prone or blemished skin.
