Huck’s in East Greenwich is offering a whole hickory-smoked ten-to-fourteen-pound turkey for $75 or pulled pork for $18 per pound. There are a whole bunch of appetizers and sides, including deviled eggs, peel-and-eat shrimp, cornbread by the loaf, cornbread stuffing, root vegetable hash, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, baked mac and cheese, gravy and cranberry chutney. You can also order desserts like apple cobbler and pumpkin dump cake, as well as cocktails like Fireball nips and mulled wine. Mill’s Tavern in Providence will celebrate the holiday with a four-course meal offering from 12 to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. The $49 prix fixe menu includes a butternut squash bisque starter; your choice of artisanal greens or a classic Caesar salad for the second course; an entree of carved orange cider-brined turkey, aged fourteen-ounce aged New York strip, pan-seared salmon filet or a vegetarian option available upon request; and Portuguese pudding, pumpkin tart or chocolate pecan tart for dessert. Ocean House is hosting a Thanksgiving Day buffet in the ballroom from noon to 6 p.m. Savor holiday favorites including cheese and charcuterie, a classic New England raw bar, soups, salads, carving stations with succulent roasted turkey, prime rib and salmon, and all the trimmings. The cost is $125 for adults and $65 for children ages four to twelve, plus tax and gratuity (children younger than three are free). Ocean House is also offering a more upscale Thanksgiving dinner in Coast from 4 ­­­­­­­­to 8 p.m. It’s a traditional four-course Thanksgiving meal with a five-star twist. Red Stripe in Providence is offering a special Thanksgiving feast with reservations available between noon and 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. The restaurant is serving three-course meals for $35.95, plus tax and gratuity for adults, and $19.95, plus tax and gratuity, for kids ages twelve and younger. Choose from butternut squash soup or a fall salad, followed by a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with maple-brined roasted turkey, cornbread stuffing, roasted Brussels sprouts, red bliss smashed potato with roasted garlic and cream, cranberry sauce and more, then finish up with either pumpkin pie or apple crisp and vanilla ice cream for dessert. Reservations are required, and Red Stripe’s regular menu will not be available that day. There’s also a takeout option featuring the same menu for the occasion. Venice is offering an a la carte Thanksgiving menu from noon-5 p.m. as well as a family-style turkey dinner with all the trimmings served tableside (please call in advance). The a la carte menu includes not only turkey and all the fixings ($25 per person), but also baked stuffed shrimp, baked cod, braised beef short rib and more as well as a variety of appetizers and salads. For the tableside option, you must have a minimum of four people per reservation, and the cost is $45 per person. Farm Fresh Rhode Island Market Mobil has teamed up with local farmers and producers (i.e. Carpenter’s Farm, Harvest Kitchen, RI Mushroom Co., Schartner Farms, Wright’s Dairy Farm & Bakery and more) to simplify Thanksgiving with a Local Produce and Pie Box that includes an array of locally sourced veggies, an eight-inch pumpkin pie, and a jar of Harvest Kitchen’s youth-made traditional-style cranberry sauce made with local cranberries. The $85 box serves six to eight people. Turkey is not included. Easy Entertaining in Providence is offering complete package meals as well as a la carte appetizers, sides and desserts. Packages include pre-cooked and sliced, ready-to-heat turkey breast with housemade turkey gravy, and guests may choose from a list of sides, including pumpkin and sausage stuffing, rustic mashed potatoes, butternut mac n cheese, Brussels sprouts and pancetta, green bean casserole, sweet potato buns, cranberry apple relish and turkey gravy. Dinners come with several sides, packaged to serve four or six guests. For four guests, turkey and three sides is $155, and with four sides, it’s $180. Sides are one quart each and turkey is breast meat only. For six guests, turkey and three sides is $225, and with four sides, it’s $245. Sides are 1.5 quarts of each.
